Southern Spain is a popular tourist destination, and it’s easy to see why. But we’re not interested in joining the masses, laid out, sunning themselves on the playas. We’re heading for the mountains of the Sierra Nevada and Alpujarras to discover the real Andalucía on our e-mountain bikes.

Heading inland from Málaga we discover arid mountain plateaux, fiery red sunsets, heavily-scented pine forests, whitewashed mountain villages, and some of the finest local delicacies you’ll ever taste. Our e-mountain bikes give us the opportunity to climb farther and enjoy bonus descents, with time to spare for lunch in a locals’ café and that extra cortado.
