Behind the Scenes of the Yeti SB165 & SB140 Press Launch

We had the opportunity to organise a recent press camp in Slovenia for our friends at Yeti Cycles.

Yeti SB165 & SB140 Press Launch

Early this summer Yeti came to us and said, “We’re launching something new and need to go somewhere rad to do it…” After a few discussions about the bikes, we quickly filtered the options down to two destinations: Slovenia or Spain.

Aside from needing the right place to launch two new bikes to a group of eager journalists, the team at Yeti wanted to experience and ride somewhere new. It was swiftly decided that Slovenia was the place to be and we knew the exact trails to put the bikes through their paces.

We headed to Bovec, Slovenia in June where we were joined by five of the Yeti team who’d made the trip over from Colorado to present their new SB165 and SB140 to a squad of eight journalists from across the world.

Over the course of three days we used a mix of shuttling and pedal-power to give the journalists a wide range of terrain to get to grips with the bikes and collate their thoughts on them.

We’ve created a photo story to show behind the scenes of the Yeti SB165 & SB140 press launch:

“From the moment I arrived in Bovec I could tell this would be a special trip. H+I had everything dialed in for a memorable trip filled with endless descents, gorgeous views, incredible local cuisine and good times. The crew went out of their way to ensure everyone had a blast. Highly recommended!”

“Within minutes of talking to the crew at H+I you know that you are in safe hands. They understand what makes a memorable day riding and work hard to ensure that all the trails they guide are top-drawer. I would be confident following an H+I guide down any trail they recommend knowing that it will be great fun. Slovenia was a great example, packed full of flow, engaging terrain and challenging technical sections; all played out under a beautiful backdrop. A highly recommended trip.”
