Award winning Namibia Africa tour
Our award winning Namibia Africa tour wins National Geographic Traveler award
There were big celebrations at H+I Adventures recently when our new mountain biking safari in Namibia was awarded one of National Geographic Traveler magazine’s ’50 Tours of a Lifetime 2015′!
It’s a big accolade and we’re very proud that this fantastic African adventure has been recognised amongst a huge field of entries, as one of the most innovative, authentic, immersive, best-guided and most sustainable tours.
In developing our award winning Namibia Africa adventure we saw the potential of the mountain bike to offer the ultimate safari experience to get you closer to the wildlife, communities and landscapes of this incredible country, which has one of the best records for wildlife conservation in the whole of Africa.
You’ll pedal across the vast Namibian plains from the capital Windhoek to Swakopmund on the Skeleton Coast, via the massive sand dunes of Sossusvlie; then on to the Huab River, favourite watering hole of elephant and lion; and to Etosha National Park to immerse yourself in the wide variety of indigenous species that call this park home. You’ll also climb Big Daddy, the highest sand dune in the world, meet local tribes people, and camp under the stars after a blazing Namibian sunset.
You will enjoy a wide ranging selection of accommodation during your time in Namibia, including farmhouse, guest house, small hotel, and luxury camping accommodation, where you will be able to relax and unwind after your exciting days exploring the astounding culture of Namibia.
We’re delighted to have won a National Geographic Traveler award for our mountain biking safari in Namibia and we look forward to sharing the whole experience with you soon!
