This is our second H+I trip and they know how to set up great mtb adventures. The Yukon is beautiful with amazing single track and you have it pretty much to yourself. Lots of flowy single track and 2 big mountain days with great views. Sylvain is a wonderful guide and managed to set a pace that kept everyone happy. The lodging was lovely and the food amazing. I really enjoyed learning about First Nations and how Carcross trail building was an economic development idea that has resulted in world class trails. The nordic hot springs on our day off also really hit the spot. Perhaps the best part is there are no crowds at all and Whitehorse has the best air quality in the world. Thanks H+I!
We’ve had the chance to do a few H+I trips and always seemed to be dazzled by the fancy new outing and clicked past Yukon. Well, that was stupid - what an amazing destination! First + most important, the riding and trails are top-shelf. I was blown away by the quality + variety of the riding between Whitehorse and Carcross. Literally something for everyone - at some point during the week you’re going to ride your new favorite trail, likely a couple of times. The accommodations + food are not far behind. We generally like trips that move around - to have a change of scenery. Clearly there is no moving in Yukon, but the setting in the wild mountains is so nice, you don’t tire of the view each morning. Last not least, Chef Manon kept us guessing what dining delight was coming on the return to the lodge each day. Highly recommended.
