There's a reason Whistler is world-renowned for its Mountain Biking. H+I has crafted a "Sea-to-Summit" experience that has you starting on the famous North Shore trails, which give you an idea of the history and legacy of mountain biking in the area where it has become famous. Here, our Guide, Austin, showed us some of his favorite trails, and we got a taste of the trails to come on our trip.
Austin, our guide, was great. He is super engaging, has a great way of explaining trail features, and is a fantastic coach. He is able to mentally prepare you for the trail features ahead, as well as provide you with critical tips to help you progress your riding and conquer things you wouldn't have even thought about riding down at the beginning of the trip. I came out of this trip a better rider for sure. Austin was also great at choosing the trails that would best meet our whole group's riding skills and desires.
I can't wait to go back to BC.
Whistler and surroundings are one of those places every MTB rider should visit at least once in their lifetime. Everything is built, organized and maintained with riders’enjoyment in mind. On top of that, we had Austin to guide us, and what a guide he was. On top of massive local knowledge of trails, restaurants and any other need we had he was a great coach and a great guy to be around. He made all the difference. A week of pure riding fun. Thank you!!
