Our knees are often the first parts of our body to hit the ground/tree when we crash, so it’s important to protect them, particularly when riding unknown trails. They will give you confidence and help you feel safer when tackling more technical terrain, such as rocks, roots and drops.

A mountain bike-specific helmet is essential for all of our adventures.
It offers greater protection for the back of the head than other types of helmet, and it also has a peak to protect the face from impact.

Tyre Recommendations
Tyre Recommendations
An all-mountain style tyre with excellent grip in loose and muddy conditions, with robust sidewall protection.
We recommend tyres such as the Schwalbe Magic Mary up front, paired with the Big Betty or Hans Dampf on the rear with a minimum of Super Gravity sidewall protection, or the Maxxis Minion DHF and DHR2 with a minimum of EXO+ sidewall protection.
