Yukon is more than just trails…
A mountain biking holiday in the Yukon is more than just trails
Our sensational mountain biking holiday in the wild Yukon territory of Canada is an absolute favourite with everyone who has experienced it – and many of our riders keep coming back year-on-year. As well as swooping down abandoned trails beaten in by 1800s Klondike prospectors during the Gold Rush, and taking in the magnificent views as you follow the pristine Yukon River trails, one of the many highlights of this particular adventure is the luxury ranch lifestyle that you’ll immerse yourself in at our base that sits between Whitehorse and Carcross. Because, the Yukon is more than just trails..
The style of the ranch fits perfectly with H+I Adventures’ ethos of bringing the group together to embrace the local lifestyle – be that out on the trails or chilling post-ride with a local craft ale. With spectacular views of the Grey Ridge Mountains from every room, you won’t struggle to climb out of bed each morning!
Another fabulous bonus of our Yukon adventure is the outstanding cuisine you shall indulge in over the course of the week.
One of the first things that returning riders mention is how much they enjoyed the fresh, healthy home-made meals, and how they’d love to try them at home. Well, with a bit of persuasion we’ve managed to convince our Yukon hosts to lift the lid on a couple of their secret recipes, to bring a bit of the Yukon to your own kitchen!

¼ cup fresh lime juice and zest of lime

- Mince garlic with salt, stir together; garlic paste, lime juice, oil, sugar and chipotle chilli in a small bowl until sugar is dissolved.
- Put char in a plastic bowl with the skin side down. Rub in the chilli mixture and let sit for 15 minutes at cool room temperature.
